The Nejat desktop application is designed to be fully private and offline. The app does not collect, store, transmit, or share any personal data, health data, or conversation data of any kind. This website (nejat.ai) collects limited, anonymous analytics to understand aggregate usage — no personal information is collected. This policy explains both in detail.

Nejat runs entirely on your local device. The AI model (Qwen 2.5, developed by Alibaba Cloud) is downloaded once to your computer and all processing happens locally — no query, response, or conversation is ever sent to any external server.
Conversations and settings are stored locally in your device's app data folder. This data never leaves your device and is only accessible to you.
Nejat requires an internet connection only once: to download the AI model (~4.7 GB) on first launch. After that, the app functions with no internet connection whatsoever. The model download is made directly from Hugging Face's public servers (huggingface.co). We do not intercept, log, or store any information about this download.
This website (nejat.ai) uses Firebase (Google) to record anonymous page visit and download events. When you visit this site or click a download button, we may record:
No name, email, account, or persistent identifier is collected. This data is used solely to understand aggregate traffic and improve the app. It is stored in Google Firebase (Firestore) and subject to Google's privacy policy.
The app itself uses no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking services. This website uses the following third-party services:
Nejat does not knowingly collect any information from children under the age of 13. Since we collect no data from anyone, this applies equally to all users.
Because no data is transmitted or stored by us, there is no server-side security risk. Your conversations and settings are stored locally on your own device and are subject to your device's own security measures.
Since we do not collect or hold any of your data, there is nothing for us to access, correct, export, or delete on your behalf. You can delete all local app data at any time by uninstalling the application or through Settings → Reset App inside the app.
If we ever change this policy, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date. We will never introduce data collection without clear notice and, where required by law, your explicit consent. If the change is material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through an in-app notice on the next update.
This Privacy Policy is incorporated into and forms part of our Terms of Service. By using Nejat, you agree to both. In the event of any conflict between this Privacy Policy and the Terms of Service, the Terms of Service shall govern.
Nejat was built with privacy as a core design principle, not an afterthought. We collect nothing. We store nothing on our end. We transmit nothing. Your conversations with the AI, your health questions, and your device information stay entirely on your device, always.
